Look what I did!

I bought this chair at my friends yard sale for 10 cents, then I re-did the fabric. it looks much more groovy now, doncha think?

I'm not really sure why the After pic is sideways, I re-did it like 3 times, but it always uploads sideways. But, isn't it FABULOUS!

Last night Gain went to his first dance in UT. It was a costume church dance. He said he had a lot of fun. Notice the prince costume, it's what Glenn married me in :)

Great Salt Lake

It was about a month ago, we took Gain on a long drive to the Great Salt Lake, but it didn't end there, oh no, we went and saw the Olympics stuff at the University of UT. And drove into La caille the most expensive, and beautiful restaurant in UT. of course we didn't eat there, just drove up to see.

September in The mountains

Yesterday we took Gain to buy a new camera. the we took him and River up in the mountains. we went up Big Cottonwood Canyon, and saw some ski resorts, then we found the guardsman's pass, and decided to take it. Wow it was so beautiful! we got to the top where we could see The Heber Valley, and on the other side the SL valley. we went down this steep Dirt road and went all the way to Heber, , looked at the Heber Valley Railroad and finally we made our way down Provo canyon, and went home. It was really such a beautiful drive.

Sept 5 2009, Utah lake

Saturday before Labor Day, we decided to go to Utah Lake, and show Gain the fun. We rented a sea doo, and a tube to pull behind it. and also a paddle boat. First Glenn took Gain on the back and James rode the tube. while River and I paddled on the paddle boat. Then when they came back, James got in the paddle boat with river and I climbed on the sea doo. and took Glenn in the tube. We were having a grand old time, until I noticed Glenn holding his hat and glasses for dear life. so i stopped took them from him. This is when all heck broke loose ha ha. Glenn fell off the tube, and tried to climb back in, to no avail. so he decided to get on the jet ski, and jump in, suddenly he totally tipped us over!! Gain is really afraid of the water too. he was wearing Levis and a t shirt, and his camera was open! the camera didn't work anymore after that, but we were really struggling, so I climbed back on, and Glenn did too, and tipped us over AGAIN!!. Finally we all managed to climb on and I drove us in. When we got to the dock Glenn tried to get off the jet ski onto the dock and..... Tipped us over AGAIN!!! whew what a crazy time.

I also lost my favorite sunglasses somewhere in the Utah Lake :( but that's nothing compared to Gains Camera... sorry Gain ;)
